 About the health supplements

You may have noticed that we carry a smaller selection of brands than some other internet retailers.  There is a reason for this.  We are not aiming to be the shop that offers the most brands.  Our aim is to offer a good range and selection of high quality products. This makes it much simpler for you the customer.

 Buying health supplements can be confusing

We know that buying health supplements can be confusing and daunting.  There are so many brands available with very extensive product ranges.  How do you know which to buy?  Well that is where we can help.  You know if you purchase from us that you still have a great choice but you also know you are getting a quality health supplement.  We have taken some of the confusion out of sorting through hundreds of brands and deciding which product to buy. 

 Not all health supplements are created equal

Not all health supplements are created equal.  Just because a supplement is one the best selling products on the market doesn't mean it is the best.  Sometimes it is just because they have great marketing campaigns. You may find that we don't sell a product that you have heard about.  There are two reasons for this (1) because we have sourced a product that is equal or better (often at a lower price for you); or (2) we haven't had a chance to add it to our product line yet. If you email us we can let you know whether we can source the product for you.

Choice of products at different prices 

At Healthy Shop we offer a choice of products at different price points.  Often the most expensive products have the highest dosages (not in every case but mostly).  However, we also offer lower priced alternatives that are still quality products.  We generally do not stock supplements that have very low dosages of therapeutic ingredients.  In the long term you need to take more of them per day for the same effect as a quality standard dosage product. 

 About the skin and hair care products

Healthy Shop selects hair and body products that are all natural and either certified organic, organic or  chemical free.  We confirm this by checking product labelling, manufacturers website or through direct contact with the manufacturer.

If we cannot confirm all of the product ingredients we will not stock the product.  Manufacturers are only required to disclose the active ingredients on their labels.  Sometimes the inactive ingredients are not all natural.  If this is the case then we will not stock their product

The hair and body products: Contain NO petro-chemicals or mineral oils, NO artificial preservatives, NO artificial fragrances, NO Sodium Lauryl Sulphate, Sodium Laureth Sulphate, NO synthetic Parabens, NO artificial colours, NO talc products, and are NOT tested on animals.
