How does Remifemin Work?

Over the last 40 years German scientist's have scientifically proven that the range of natural active ingredients used in the Remifemin formula are extremely effective. These active ingredients could have an effect on the Hypothalamus and Piturity gland system, which control the hormone production. Remifemin works as a hormone stabiliser, it works with the body to help it to adjust especially during times like peri-menopause and menopause. It is not a dietary supplement but a symptom specific product that works directly on the hormone centre.

Each tablet contains:

The unique proprietary Isopropanolic extract of Cimicifuga Racemosa (Black Cohosh) 22 microlitre.  Liquid extract equivalent 20 mg Cimicifuga Racemosa dry rootstock extract (1:1:14).  Contains non-active ingredient lactose.

Contains no salt, yeast, wheat, gluten, corn, soy, colouring or preservatives.  Contains natural peppermint oil for flavouring. 

Contraindications:

Black Cohosh may harm the liver in some individuals.  Use under the supervision of a health care professional.  Keep out of reach of children.

Suggested Dosage

Mild to Moderate Symptoms: Up to 2 tablets per day, one in the morning and one in the evening.

Moderate to Severe Symptoms: Up to 3 tablets per day.

Severe Symptoms: Up to 4 tablets per day.

First time users - Initial starting dose should be 4 tablets per day, 2 in the morning and 2 at night for 6--8 weeks then can be reduced according to the table above.

All users - Tablets to be taken in the morning and 1-2 tablets in the evening depending on the severity of the symptoms, or as directed by your health care professional. For Pre Menopausal women Remifemin can be taken at any time during the menstrual cycle.

How long before I see results?

As with most treatments the effectiveness can vary from person. Some women have experienced excellent results in the first 1 to 2 weeks, whilst others have found more relief after 5 to 6 weeks. However this can vary depending on the circumstances and needs of the individual. For the best results Remifemin should be taken for at least 8 weeks and then continued if effective.

Who can take Remifemin?

Remifemin tablets can be taken by women of all ages especially if changes or imbalances are affecting their general well being. Many women even in their early to mid thirties can experience symptoms (e.g.: anxiety, moodiness, emotional sensitivity etc.) generating from the hormonal changes which is known as pre menopause.
